And Now for Something Completely Different: Condiments.

Yeah, so I wanted to take a moment to offer this quick commercial.

We tend toward the carnivorous in our house, and one thing that is absolutely necessary when one has such a leaning is (drumroll, please)….. meat. And another thing: said meat product must be properly dressed, particularly if it is done up as barbecue.

If you are going to do ‘Q, it must be done properly. And that means proper sauce; throw your greasy, lickable hands up if you know what I’m talking about.

We love homemade sauce for the ‘Q; it’s like an adventure. But we lucked up on some great sauce from over at Phil’s Dream Pit BBQ. Check out the selection here, and if you are so inclined, try the combo pack like we did. I was a bit concerned when it poured loosely out of the bottle, but its texture through cooking more than made up for it. And the taste was very good. If you like spicy, the Sweet Fire will do ya (it’s got habanero powder in it!).

Okay, that is my public service announcement for the day. Carry on. As you were. Etc.
