Camp NNWM, Day 14: To a Better Tomorrow

Copyright: Watterson

I woke up grouchy this morning. Well, that’s not exactly the truth; after a series of unexpected events the likes of which I won’t bore you with, I found myself grouchy. I had received my second rejection from Glimmer Train last night, which didn’t help matters any. I know we are not to “let the sun go down on our anger,” but what happens when the thing that makes you angry happens after the sun has already gone down? Kidding. Anyway, in my grouchiness I continued to think on the rejection, which of course made me more grouchy and sent me into that spiral of self-pity. I coulda used the proceeds from the sale of that story, not to mention the fact that with the way things are going right now a published story would be just the shot of adrenalin my psyche needed.

So I did what any self-respecting grouch would do. I went searching for a new possible home for my story. And I posted my Camp NaNo stat’s. Harumph. Here’s to a better tomorrow.

  1. Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks!
