George was terribly sorry to have dragged Micky into this; they had started dating a couple of months ago and things had been progressing nicely. Just before their date last Friday, he and that guy at the construction site had words. The guy turned out to be a de-frocked warlock who promised vengeance on George and his girl (that freaked George out; how could he have known George was dating??). Now here they were, running for their lives without clothes on some strange planet. “What did you do?” Micky asked, breathlessly.
“Nothing—He tried to hit me with a forklift!”
Right, another 100-word triple-play! You’ll have to tell me if I pulled it off. Here are the prompts:
- Saturday Centus asked us to write 100 words about remorse without using the word (I used it as my title, but it’s not in the piece…),
- Picture It & Write gave us the photo, above and asked for 100 words about it, and
- Today’s Daily Post asked us to write whatever we wanted but we had to include the line “He tried to hit me with a forklift!” in the last paragraph.
And there you have it (whew!).
