Hopefully you were not too creeped out by last week's After character, Roscoe David Kirkpatrick. This week's character is Shonda Bickman, the young woman who Roscoe got to know rather well as mentioned in his introduction.
Shonda Bickman works in-bound customer service at Simmons Logistics. She likes having fun and enjoys her friendship with Marlena Jacoby. Shonda has lived a life before coming to Simmons; specifically, she was a military wife. Travelling the world provided her with interesting tidbits on different cultures as well as a decent command of various languages; however, she has lost most of those gifts due to a lack of use. Since the changes that have gone on, Shonda admits that the break-up of her marriage was her fault.Despite her issues, Shonda is a great friend. She is frightened by what is going on and has her eye on the Naifites, the sect that developed after Ibrahim Johannes Naifeh's appearance. Will she succumb to their call?
You'll have to wait until the book is out to get the answer to that question and to find out all the things that Shonda experiences with her friends. If things remain on schedule, the book should be out in early November! I might have time for one more character introduction between now and then.
